The last stitch in each of my rows tends to be very loose. Anyone know why this might be, or have suggestions on how to fix it?
I think you just need to pull the stitch snuggly when beginning the next row.
You can also (sometimes) slip the first stitch in each row, which will stretch that stitch over two rows and help eliminate some of the looseness.
Whenever I slip the first stitch, it’s worse than a loose one, and distorts the 2nd stitch in. What I do is knit or purl the first one, then tug the yarn gently to tighten it a little. That pulls up the looseness of the last st too. And work the next couple stitches a bit tighter.
