Loom Pattern HELP!

I’ve been trying to figure out this pattern and cannot seem to do it right!

It’s called the Corn On The Cob stitch from “I can’t believe I’m Loom Knitting” by Kathy Norris.

Reading the pattern for Row 2: K2, (skip 1, K1) across-- I read it as Knit 2, Skip 1, Knit 1.

Is that correct? or am I missing something?

That’s what it says. Most of us don’t use looms, just needles, and skip a stitch doesn’t happen when knitting with needles. Maybe it will end up being a slipped stitch. I hope you can figure it out.

Thank you so much!

Just to be clear, are you interpreting it as:
Row 2 k2, skip 1, k1, skip 1, k1, skip 1, k1, continuing the skip 1, k1 across the rest of the row?

Salmonmac… I think you figured it out! I was just repeating the entire row…not just the stitches in the parentheses…

WHEW I had a total blonde moment… thanks for your help! P.S I see you’re from Maryland… I grew up there, BIG Ravens fan, Orioles Fan, Old Bay, Crabs, Ocean City… I love it all! (still call it home even though I’m in Tennessee now!)

Glad you’ve got it! (Maryland is a wonderful secret for all the reasons you mentioned. Just dem O’s would be enough.)
