Good luck Mason!! I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts!!
oh mason–crap. Thank goodness you shaved your head so you caught it when you did. Hope it all turns out well.
Cancer sucks.
Healthy thoughts to you.
Say, Mason, those fedoras like Indiana Jones wore shade all sides at once and are pretty sharp lookin’ hats…and they used to sell a lightweight version at Wallyworld like what Jack Rousch wears at all the NASCAR events.
Bet you’d look good in one!![]()
Hey Mason. I get those things all the time, in differet forms. My DH does also. We have our doc look at them, and he usually says they’re nothing to worry about. We’ve had a few of them biopsed, and they’ve all been negative, even though they looked like BCC. We’ve had them removed from anywhere ‘seeable’ by anyone but us.
Will be praying lots until you let us know.
Prayers are with you, Mason!
There are a lot of birthmarks, moles and other beauty marks that aren’t cancerous…wait and see what the doctor says before you get too worried. It’s good that you are being proactive though. I’ll keep you in my prayers! Stay safe out there…

All I know is that it can take awhile to get in to see a ‘derm’ especially as a ‘new patient’… is there anyway you can look up some doctors in your home town and call now for an appointment? Since, they aren’t likely able to see you immediately anyway? That way you can see them as soon as you get in to town- you don’t even have to go to a primary care doctor if you don’t want to either.
Actually a fedora is one of my favorite hat styles. I have a couple of different ones in the truck with me (along with about a dozen or so other hats). I’ll be wearing them from now on. Today I’ve just been wearing a rather misshappen straw beach hat. It works.
Misshappen are the best kind of straw beach hats in mho!
Yup! It was kinda funny really, I showed up at the yard today wearing my ugly plaid shorts, a bright green tee shirt, navy blue deck shoes, and my beach hat and everyone kept commenting that I was wearing my Florida clothes LOL
From going through this with both my DH and my dad I know that a family practice doctor can remove and biopsy. If it does come back as something needing more attention they can get you in to a derm faster. When it comes to anything medical faster is better, the waiting is always the hardest part. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
Hope things go well for you.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I thought I’d already responded to this but I guess I forgot to hit enter.
I’m sorry to hear this, I hope the biopsy comes out all right.
I hope you’re able to get to a dermatologist ASAP. My guy gets me in very quickly and we just finished removing 16 of my moles. That’s not a typo - 16 moles removed. I’ve very fair skinned and I’m never in the sun. With this stuff it’s better to be over cautious then let it spread.
There’s not much pain involved in the removal - it’s the numbing shots that hurt like a b%*&$ !
I bet it won’t be anything serious, but get it checked asap and keep us posted.

Please don’t play around with this too long. It’s probably nothing but why play russian roulette…
Prayers and good thoughts coming your way. Yes, never leave the house without sunscreen!
oh no!! I hope every thing turns out ok, and you get it taken care of ASAP~I’ll keep you in my prayers.
BTW, I can just see you in that get-up  sounds like it was very comfy, altho possibly lacking in style-lol. (what would I know, though? hehe)
Let us know how you’re doing! {{hugs}}
[B]Best wishes, Mason!

Mason we pray you are fine and not off the road for long :waving:
