I bought some Marco Polo disc yarn and some Agadir disc yarn and want to make a scarf that has long stripes. I was thinking of casting on 200 or so stitches and knitting each yarn for a few rows til I get the width I want. But I was hoping there was a pattern out there that may be like this. I searched knittingpattern central but can’t find what I am looking for.
Are you on Ravelry? I found several, some improvised. Of those improvised they cast on 200-225 stitches. I have no idea how long they came out though.
Here’s a few patterns that I saw in there as well.

I remember someone posting an FO on this site that was a striped scarf knit lengthwise. I think she cast on 300 stitches!! But I couldn’t find the post to be sure.
Good luck!
