Looking for similar hat pattern seen in a book

So I went to my LYS today, and I was looking through a book called 220 Projects for Cascade 220 (or something like that). I don’t know if anyone has this book, but I saw a hat (a toque) that I would like to knit in it… And I was hoping I could find a similar one online somewhere, but so far, nada. Anyone know of any cute sprial (maybe also ribbed, I can’t quite remember) hats? It only took the one skein of Cascade 220, and it had a little brim kind of thing, and then a kind of almost woven spiral pattern to it… So I’m hoping someone has seen a pattern like this floating around… Otherwise I may have to go back to the LYS and see if I can maybe copy it or something…

is more diagonal whereas I’m looking for something that swirls to a point–if that makes sense. I think it means I need to find something that slides the rib over one stitch each row to get a “swirl.” I wish I could find something that has a texture on the ribs too… like a sort of peak in the middle of the rib… k2, yo, k2tog, k3(into same stitch), k2tog, yo, k2…
or dot stitch(knit two stitches into one stitch, return both stitches to left needle and knit together) in the middle of the row… I dunno what those would look like… just making it up.

Also, many spiral hats are k2, p2 then they decrease a whole rib at a time near the top. Like this

I think I’m looking for something that is a wider rib… like k6, p2 and the ribs decrease down to k1, p1 near the top.

I do like the texture on the Silk Garden Spiral hat though…

I made my mom a hat she realy liked

it was

CO dividable by 3 (I used 99st)
row1: K2Tog, m1, k1
row2: k
row3: k1, k2Tog, m1
row4: k
repeat for 6 inch.

the top of the hat is a simple decrease and is don without the pattern… For me it make an eyelet swirl for the body of the hat.
