Looking for pattern

OK.
It looks like,e your working yarn is attached to the stitch on the left needle as we are looking at the blanket.
Pick up the needles then turn them around so that you are looking at the other side of the blanket and the working yarn is attached to the stitch on the right needle.
Then tink each stitch, as you undo each on you are catching the stitch below and undoing thnstitch on the right needle. The caught stitch will be on the left needle.
Keep going to the end of the row.
Then you should be able to turn your work and have the right side (the viewing side or the top side) of the blanket facing you.

Well, it looks like I have the wrong side facing me. And I sure am not good at thinking. !!
Now what ? Ugh !

I think I need to just give up on this!
I was checking for more yarn and it looks like I all I have is this what is left of what I’m using
Not even enough to finish this blanket

OK this is probably back on track now! Obviously I can’t check every stitch because it’s hard to see in the pics but it looks like you are there.

Using the pattern posted (link above)
I believe you are now ready to work row 8.
Row 8 is a wrong side row, you currently have the wrong side facing you ready to work, k8, (p8, k4) across with a k8 at the end.

You might be surprised how far you get with the yarn. Maybe a small moses basket blanket or a lovey. Or you could add another colour to finish the blanket off which would be a design detail. A deeper beige/camel colour would work nicely with the cream, or a bright contrasting colour would be great too.
Or maybe just reestablish the pattern as a learning experience and for something to knit, it’s ok to knit for for the knitting too.

If you want to work row 8 and post another pic that is fine. Or work row 8 and just keep going with the pattern if you’re happy. Whatever you choose.
It’s perfectly fine to post again for help. I don’t mind at all, I’m not going anywhere.

Thank you so much.
I owe you so much for your help.

You owe me nothing. I am more than happy to help.
Don’t feel bad for asking. Also don’t feel bad if you don’t wish to continue with your pattern and want to just stop.
Either is fine.
The aim is to enjoy your knitting whether that is overcoming a challenge (which sometimes is just what we are looking for) or finding a different project (because its supposed to be fun, not infuriating). Be happy.

I have already finished row eight and now I’m going to look at the pattern and go from there. I’m just not sure about the yarn, if it is four ply or what . One thing I know it is really soft.

Great.
Row 9 then. It’s a right side row so those stockinette panels have ā€œVā€ shape stitches, this is the side facing you as you knit. It is knit every stitch all the way across.

I wouldn’t be able to help with the yarn. If you don’t have the ball band. You could have a guess at the weight by looking at what size needles you are using and that may help identify if it is 4ply or DK.
If you are able to get to a yarn shop you could take your yarn/knitting with you and ask the assistant to help choose a suitable yarn to continue with.

Look what I found two skins and I believe they are perfect Match to what I’m using.

Hello, it’s me again. One day I do real good and the next day. I just screw up somehow I do a lot of tearing out and redoing right now. I put it down tonight Jack because I actually have an extra stitch.Ugh !!!
I just wanted to let you know that I’m still hanging in there and I appreciate the good thoughts that you gave me about not giving up. Just wanted to share with you my frustration tonight. Ha HA

Despite being frustrating to get bits wrong now and then it sounds like you are doing well to spot where you have gone wrong and identify how to fix it. It’s good progress.

Here’s a video how to fix individual stitches if you fancy trying it. It means not having to rip out a full row but instead you can work up to the stitch, fix, and continue

Or with a crochet hook

If the mistake is further down than the previous row you can drop that stitch down to where you need to correct then rework the ladder all the way up.

And for garter stitch

Just in case you decide to have a go at these methods, I find it easier to use a crochet hook a bit smaller than the needle size I’m using.

A deep breath helps too! Ha ha!
