Looking for lightweight sweater pattern

I am looking for a pattern for a lightweight sweater.

I have a dress for the spring/summer, but at work they always have the air conditioner on so high, I’m usually freezing (office building downtown - we don’t have control of the thermostat)! I have looked around in stores and online, but cannot find what I want … everything I’ve found so far is usually too heavy.

What I am after is something lightweight - something made out of a fingering weight yarn or lighter. Difficulty of pattern does not matter (I enjoy figuring out tough patterns! ) Long or mid-short sleeves is okay.

The key here is to find something lightweight - something to give just a little bit more warmth, but nothing too heavy.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I’m about at my wits end! I love the dress, but I can’t wear it often to work.

Not sure what shape you’re after, here are some sweaters and shrugs that might work. You can lengthen or shorten sleeves to your preference.

Here are some sweaters made from fingering weight yarn.

These are in DK weight, but if you used a cotton or blend they would be great as well.
