Looking for easy first cable project

I would like to make something with cables I see everyone elses pretty cabeld things and I am dying to try any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Oh yeah, I am picking up my Denises today!! :happydance: :happydance:

it is a great hat–my best friend has curly hair and I love it but she hates it…I have marcy brady hair too–I think it’s a “grass is greener” kind of thing.

This lovely hat is also a really easy first time cable project. The cable is knit seperately, grafted in the back and then stitches picked up to make the hat portion. You could also do this same band smaller in a cotton thread to make a headband (had a friend that did that).
