Wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a relatively easy earflap hat pattern. (say that 10 times fast ) I want to make one for myself but not super tight ( I have fluffy hair and I hate that mushed bangs look  ) or too pointy and a pretty easy to follow pattern. I know, itās a lot to ask but I just know you guys have so many cool connections and ideas I just had to ask.
I used 10 1/2 needles and made the mens size, as I also have big hair! Iād like to make another one and try some color striping or maybe even a charted design on the front ā something I havenāt yet tackled.
It does have cables but iāve only been knitting a month and i finished the project over two nights it was pretty easy (you know, while watching law and order or something. I did it twice the first time i followed her gauge and the hat needed to be blocked it was tiny (and i have a 21 1/2" head!) So i did a second one up using 10 1/2" needles (which is what brown sheep bulky asks for anyway). It was my first hat and first cable project⦠Itās super cute. Otherwise take a look at Interweave Knits which has a PDF with a bunch of different earflap patterns at http://www.interweave.com/knit/interweave_knits/web_projects/win_05/Cover_Ears.pdf
Thanks everyone! I knew I could count on you guys for guidance! You all are awesome you know that?! :cheering:
Iāve put this on the back burner for now until I can find some really cool yarn. Besides, my wool of the andes yarn showed up over the weekend so Iāve started a bag Iām going to felt. Itās hard having such a short attention span. :rofling:
