Look what I made yesterday!

I’m so proud of myself- not only did I manage to make both slippers yesterday, I did SO many things I’ve never done before! I’ve never made socks or anything sock-like before, so this was my first provisional cast-on, my first short rows and w&t, my first turning a heel, my first cable cast-on… I just kept going back to my computer to the wonderful videos on this site! THANKS, AMY!!

Also, I’m sorry, I can’t remember who posted these just before Halloween, but thanks! You’re the one who inspired me to make them for my daughters!

So, these are for my 3 yo, I still need to make a pair for my 5 yo.

Forgot to add- these are twinkletoes ballet slippers from knitty.

Awww how sweet are those x

OMG those are so precious!! I’m definately going to make those for my boyfriend’s niece…she’s 5 and REALLY into ballet–well anything girly really.

They are absolutely adorable! You should be proud of yourself you did a super job.

How cute!! They look great :happydance:

Wow, that was a really steep learning curve for you yesterday!! Way to go for trying so many new techniques AND succeeding at them. The slippers are so cute!

They look great! I want some for me!
Isn’t it satisfying when you figure out all those tricks?

It is satisfying! And… the pattern includes an adult size!

Awwww they are so sweet, great job!

congrats to you on learning all those new things in one day !! If I ever get back to my needles my neice is soooo getting a pair of those !!

OH Cute! I want to make some… I have to finish my baby sweater first, but soon

Those are wonderful… Will you make me a pair?? 23yo cute face

Awww so cute!

Carey, those are GORGEOUS! So sweet. I should make some of those for my niece. Someday. After all the other things are done. lol.

LOL I know what you mean! I’m hoping I get Emily’s slippers done before they fall victim to that ‘I’ll get to them next’ syndrome!

Those are wonderful! Add something else to my list of things I’d like to make for my neices

They look great! :cheering:
I am the one that made a purple pair for my daughter, who was a ballerina for Halloween. They’re fast and fun to knit!

They do look nice; warm too. Love the color that you chose. MAYBE I can get a pair done for The Kate before Christmas

.

Aha, it was you! Thanks for the inspiration! I loved yours, absolutely beautiful.

How sweet!!!
