Longer length in back of vneck jumper

Hi,

I need to knit a vneck jumper which is longer by 3 inches in back whilst the front is slightly shorter. The
sides all match with the band. I’m not sure how to go about putting this small arc in front to get the longer look. Do you have any suggestions?

Welcome to KH!
So you want the back to dip down lower than the front with a continuous band of ribbing, is that right? Usually the way to work this is short rows across part of the back.
If the sweater is knit in the round this could also make an arc at the front.
