Little Coffee Bean

Here is the site for the pattern:

My question concerns the Raglan Increases. Instructions say to repeat above 2 rows until you have 46 (50, 54) sts between back 2 markers ending on a WS row. I am wondering which markers the pattern is referring to?

I am knitting the 12 month size. Would the “back” stitches be the 24 stitches I purled in the neck instructions? So I would keep working until those 24 stitches increased to 54?
Thanks!

When you work raglan increases, you’re increasing two stitches at 4 spots–you should have 4 markers when you start your increases. At each raglan ‘seam’ you’ll increase before and after the markers.

When the section between the two back markers reaches 54 stitches. You’ll also have stitches for the two fronts and the sleeves.

What Ingrid say, and in additon… you should have 4 markers that mark off the front, sleeve, back, sleeve and front sections. The back sts would be in the middle with the larger number of sts. You increase at all 4 markers, but noting how many are in the back section is an easy way to know when you’ve done enough of the incs.
