Lisa Richardson Cyclone pattern question

Hello Braintrust,
I’m working this pattern, which is a brioche rib with raglan sleeves. I’ve reached decreasing for sleeves:
(RS): K2, sl 1, K1, psso, patt to last 4 sts, K2tog, K2.
Next row: P2, P2tog, patt to last 4 sts, P2togtbl, P2.
Working all raglan armhole shaping as set by last two rows, dec 1 st at each end of next [3] rows, then on foll [28] alt rows.

So I’m confused when I get to the alternate rows. I did the three rows of decrease at each end. The next row is a wrong side row - and I assume a no decrease row.
So is my pattern for these alternate (non decreasing) rows
a). P4, patt to last 4 sts, P4
B) P2, patt to last 2 sts, P2
C) something I haven’t thought of
??

Thanks tons, I appreciate the collective wisdom.
Laurie

Welcome to KH!
What is the name of your pattern and designer?
Yes, after the decreases on the next 3 rows, the next row is a WS row. It’s a no decrease rowand should be P2, patt to last 2sts, P2. That keeps the raglan edge at 2sts on each edge.

Thanks so much!! - that makes sense.
The designer is Lisa Richardson, pattern cyclone.

Hello,

In your pattern, for the alternate rows where no decreases are specified, you should maintain the established stitch pattern, but also ensure you’re following the overall shaping of the raglan.

Given that you just did decreases on the previous row and are now on a wrong side (WS) row, the goal is to maintain the brioche rib pattern. Based on your decreases and the need to maintain the ribbing, the most logical option would be:

Option A: P4, pattern to the last 4 sts, P4.

This keeps your raglan shaping while adhering to the brioche rib. You want to ensure that the edges remain consistent, so maintaining those stitches at the beginning and end helps with that. Just make sure that “patt” includes the brioche rib pattern you’ve been working on.

Thank you so much, Jully!!!
That makes sense - and it seems to be working!
