I’ve been searching for an hour and I can’t remember where I saw the post in which someone describes how to turn a word in your post into a link. Any help? Thanks!

well here’s how i use to do it. I would type out everything i had to say and then go back to the word i wanted to hyperlink and get my cursor there. then i would move to hover over the URL button and use the second set of instructions that came up as a template to follow to type it all out (of course just copying and pasting the link…i am not crazy enough to try and type all that in! :shock: ) and then hit the preview button to see if it is there.
NOW though i type out everything i want, go back and high light the word(s) i want linked, hit the URL button so that it puts most of the code in. THEN i put my cursor in the first URL bracket that shows up, hit the “=” sigh, paste my link, et voila!
clear as mud i know…it took me forever to figure it out!
If you just want to link a web site, this is what I do. I did learn it from someone here.

You can preview your post to make sure it came out right before you submit it.
Wow! That was not something I was going to figure out at 3 AM!! I am going to copy and paste that info into a doc on my hard drive so I can use it again. Thanks you two!
