Learn to knit 2 socks at a time

I love knitting socks but I have to say I hate knitting one sock at a time. I get bore by the time I have to knit the second sock. I would really like to learn how to knit 2 socks at time on either two circulars or one circular (loop method?) Has anyone found a book or tutorial that was really helpful?

Melissa Morgan-Oakes has two books in print on knitting two socks at once on circular needles. Sorry not to give you links ATM; most KH’ers online are probably on the “New Year’s Eve Party” thread…but will be looking for normal messages in the morning.

Here’s a method for double knitting one sock inside the other that will make you a knitting goddess as well. Reading through it is a giggle. I haven’t tried all of this method, just the part about going into the kitchen and eating a whole bar of chocolate.
And here’s yet another method.

Oh, is that part of knitting, too? Glad to know this since I’ve been sadly remiss about including this step in the process. Will get on the ball with it now. Thanks for the tip.
