I posted this in my blog a while back, but here it is for anyone who just absolutely has to do another scarf :roflhard:
It is a really simple, but nice-looking stitch pattern, and knits up really quickly… hence the name!

Last Minute Scarf
1 skein Bernat Softee Chunky
US11 needles
CO 16 st
row 1- knit
row 2- knit
row 3- knit
row 4- k2, p5,k2, p5, k2
row 5- knit
row 6- repeat row 4
row 7- knit
row 8- repeat row 4
row 9- knit
row10- repeat row 4
row11-knit
row12-knit
row13-knit
Repeat from * four times (pattern worked five times total)
Work rows 4 and 5, 11 times each (total 22 rows)
Keep working in this manner until you’re almost out of yarn (I managed to get 4 complete pattern repeats, and one more repeat of the ‘rows’ part, to make the ends match before I ran out) k2 rows, BO

I think it only took me maybe three hours over a couple of days… and it would be sooo easy to convert that st pattern to a hat, too…
