Currently I’m working on http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/clemmies-sweater and I’ve just finished the portion of the pattern at the top of page 5 that reads:
“Decrease again the following
4th row, then next three
second rows 3 times, then
work decrease on WS: Purl to
last three sts, P2tog, P1.
Decrease every row until 8 sts
remain.”
My problem is I’m left with a sweater that looks like this from the back https://www.flickr.com/photos/91275538@N08/15482672992/in/photostream/lightbox/ and this from the front https://www.flickr.com/photos/91275538@N08/15482672922/lightbox/
The next set of instructions wants me to join the shoulder pieces - the long pieces on the sides to the back piece - the stitches on the holder in the middle - with CC yarn, but I do believe I screwed something up because this would be an extremely awkward join.
When I was knitting the shoulder pieces I knit about 37 rows, following the 8 row pattern set up on page four and then the incredibly confusing directions underneath that, that state:
“Decrease in this way the following fourth row, then following 3 second rows.”
Seriously, what have I done?
Thanks in advance for any help!
