Can you please explain what this means for a sleeve I’m working on:

I have 35 stitches on at the moment and I’m ready to start decreasing-
“bind off in every 2nd row alt 2 sts once, 1 st once until a length of 8 cm is reached. Then bind off”

Does the alt 2 sts mean every 2 stitches across the row? What does 1 st mean?

When decreasing sleeves in the past, I’ve only decreased (usually by knitting 2 stitches together) on the edges.

Have you ever had problems understanding Lang patterns?
I’ve knit quite a bit over the years but never had issues understanding the patterns until I started this one.

I think I’ve got it…

BO every other row, alternating 2 sts and 1 st until you have 8cm.

Though I would think you need to BO/dec on both sides of the piece, so you’d probably do it this way -
BO 2 on RS and WS rows, BO 1 on RS and WS rows, BO 2 RS and WS, BO 1 rs and WS, and so on.
