I’ve finished my base triangles and tiers 1 and 2 of Lady Eleanor. I finished that last night and put it down. I just picked it up to begin tier 3 (which is starting with a repeat of tier 1), but my working yarn is all the way on the right side (with the WS of the project facing me). If I pick up and purl from here, I’m going to be carrying the yarn over, so I’ve obviously messed up. I can’t figure out what I’ve done wrong. If I take one row out of the last rectangle worked so that my yarn will be on the left of that rectangle (when the WS is facing me), I’ll be able to pick up and purl, but that will make that rectangle one row shorter than the rest.
Have you checked to see if there are any pattern corrections on the manufacturer website? If undoing a row is the only way to continue that seems right…maybe you accidentally did one too many?
Now that I look at it, taking out a row won’t help because I’ll be left with a stitch from the previous rectangle. I think I would have to purl myself back to the left side.
I’ll search for corrections, but since several people here have done this without a problem, I’m thinking the problem is me and not the pattern.

Are you working on straights or circular needles? If circular, maybe it slid over to the other side? But for tier 3, I believe you start with the RS facing you and your yarn on the R needle, so if you turn it around, you should be okay.
