Lady Eleanor help!

Hello fellow knitters, I’m having a problem with the last tier of the Lady eleanor stole. I know you’re suppose to pick up 7 stitches because the last stitch from the previous triangle is counting as the 8th stich but I am able to pick up 9 stitches. Does anyone know if I’ve made a mistake? Or if I’m just supposed to intentionally ignore one hole on the selvedge?

Usually you’ve done the correct number of rows per rectangle or triangle because you’ve worked all of the stitches from the previoun tier. Skip one of the edge stitches so that you have the 8sts required and you should be fine.
