well, i have finally made myself try lace for the first time.

am am 3 sections of the pattern into it and just wanted to see if anyone can see if i am doing anything wrong or if it looks ok.

i look at it one way and it looks like atotal mess, then i look at it again and i quite like it

this is te link, sorry i cant upload it on here for some reason, i keep getting an error message thats in french (my french is terrible so no way of understanding it).

i know you will be honest as i want it to be right esp as my mum has informed me that i’m giving it to her :teehee:

I am far from an expert with regard to lace, but this looks perfect to me.

Yep it looks good to me too! The best part of lace knitting is blocking it at the end and seeing your messy pile of knitting transform into something totally beautiful! :yay:

oh tahts how im seeing it right now :roflhard: . glad it look right though.will have to wait and see if it works out ok, fingers crossed it doers as i kinda like the pattern

Click on the “how to post a photo” in my sig. Only photos from your hard drive can be attached. The others must be embedded (easy), but I don’t know if photobucket allows it.

jan i knew i’d seen the photo posting somewhere but for the life of me i couldnt remember where.

i did have ago though and failed misserablly
