Lace stitch in the round

I’m working on my Pi shawl and I want to use the Shower stitch for one section, but I’m not sure it will work in the round. I know that I need to work it backwards on the purl rows, but will it work with the purl through the back loops as knit through the back loops?

Row 2: p3, p2 tog-b, yo, (k1, p1) into the double yo’s of the previous row, yo, p2 tog, p3

Thanks!

Seems to me that if you need it to be a K1b, that on the purl side you should purl through the front loop.

If I am remembering my decreases correctly they are leaning towards the yo’s; so you would replace them with the knit version that slants towards the yo’s.

If the original is:
p3, p2 tog-b, yo, (k1, p1) into the double yo’s of the previous row, yo, p2 tog, p3

I would read it in the round as:
k3, k2tog through back loop, YO, k1, p1 into previous yo’s, YO, k2tog, k3

Sorry, MAma, didn’t realize you were converting to round…MMario is correct, as usual!!!

Thank you so much, that’s what I was thinking, just started the first row and freaked out a little bit… well now I can keep going.
