Lace Shawl Pattern

The instruction for this lace shawl is a bit confusing. I am not new to knitting, but I am stuck with what the instruction is trying to tell me. It says:

On WS rows, K and P into double YOs between the Chart repeats.

According to the chart I do not see any DOUBLE YO. In fact on the chart it reads (RS):
K3, YO, K, YO, K, YO, K, YO, K, YO, SSK, SSK, SSK, SSK, K, K, K, K, K2TOG, K2TOG, K2TOG, K2TOG, YO, K, YO, K, YO, K, YO, K, YO, K3

(WS): K3, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K, K3

Please let me know if a pic of the actual chart will be more helpful. Thanks!

Take a look at the chart key and see if 2 of the YOs in the repeat are marked as double YOs. Is there anything else in the instructions about double YOs? Looking at the rows given, there’s a decrease of 2sts in row 1 and I’m wondering if it’s made up in another row or if there should be 2 double YO’s on the WS to balance the decrease.
Yes, I think a picture of the chart and the key would help and also the name or a link to the pattern.

It says:

On WS rows, K and P into double YOs between the Chart repeats.

YO, K, YO, K, YO, K, YO, K, YO, SSK, SSK, SSK, SSK, K, K, K, K, K2TOG, K2TOG, K2TOG, K2TOG, YO, K, YO, K, YO, K, YO, K, YO

is your repeat. It both begins and ends with a YO; therefore you have a double yarnover between repeats.

Thank you both so much for your great reponses. I apologize for getting back to you so late. I have a 3 month old and an 18 month and have been battling a bit of insomnia as of late (hence the almost 3AM question). So if I am understanding you right MMARIO, once I turn my work to the WS and encounter the double YO’s of the beginning and end of the rep on the RS I should both K and P into each?thereby creating two new stitches… Thanks again!!!

you got it!
