Lace Scarf pattern help

Hi

I’ve started this lace scarf from a pattern but I’m stuck on row 7!

The scarf is 49 stitches across, and here are the instructions for row 7:

Row 7: sl wyif, K2, (yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo,
K1) twice, (k2tog, yo, K5, yo, ssk, (K1, yo, sl1,
k2tog, psso, yo) twice, K1), K2.

With all the parentheses and parentheses within parentheses I’m not sure how it’s meant to read. I tried writing each individual stitch out in a list but it still doesn’t seem right.

I think that the two sets of K5 need to be either 11 or 13 stitches in from each end (due to yos and pssos) in the second and fourth lace pattern sections but however I arrange the sets of stitches in the parentheses I can’t seem to get them in the right order.

Can anyone help?

It seems that there’s a direction missing and of course, you’re right the multiple parentheses don’t help. I changed the out parentherses to brackets. The section in brackets is repeated twice.

Row 7: sl wyif, K2,
(yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo,K1) twice,
[U][k2tog, yo, K5, yo, ssk,
(K1, yo, sl1,k2tog, psso, yo) twice,
K1] [B]twice[/B], [/U]
K2.

That adds up to 49sts
