Lace Sampler Scarf

This was actually a very quick and fun knit. I used one skein of Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool. The pattern actually calls for lace or fingering wt yarn but my choice worked well.

The pattern is from Franklin Habit; he “translated” a Victorian lace sampler pattern and it can be found at Knitty here:

Thanks for looking!

Oh it’s beautiful you did a great job

Gr8 job n wel done

That’s beautiful!! A very clever idea for a pattern – if you only do a little bit of each pattern you wouldn’t get bored. I like lace patterns worked in heaver weight yarns, and yours is lovely. Nice work.

It’s lovely! I’ve never seen anything like this before, but it’s gorgeous. I love the creamy colour too.

Gorgeous!!! Love your choice of yarn!

Very nicely done!:cheering:

Beautiful! Your choice of yarn looks fantastic with this pattern

Ooo, very pretty!

Oh wow…that is amazing in the cream yarn!! Wow!!

I completely agree. I’m marking that pattern in Rav.

Oh WOW! This scarf is a real beauty! I love your color choice, and of course, nothing can beat Silky Wool for “class”! You should be very proud of this scarf!

It is so pretty!!! Thank you for sharing the pattern. I have not done any lace knitting, however now I am inspired. :happydance:
