I have been knitting now for about eight months or so. I am now knitting my first lace pattern with a lace weight yarn. I am wondering how to join a new ball of yarn when knitting lace? I am knitting a scarf with 70% mohair/30% nylon. In the past I have used either a standard join or a felted join, but won’t it pull apart with an open-weave pattern like lace?
