Lace pattern help

Hi there!
I’m currently working on a sweater knit in the round with a lacework yolk. I’m new to lacework and I’ve ran into a snag. I have 234 stitches on my needles right now. The pattern starts with a 13 stitch repeat but I keep ending up with 15 stitches. Knit 4, do the k2tog, yf, k1, yf, s1k1psso and then I’m left with 2 stitches to knit instead of 4.
Any insight into what’s going on?

Hello
Often in video tutorials for a yf or yo (yarn forward, yarn over, or similar) they show the yarn forward followed by a knit stitch, as though the knit stitch is part of the maneuver. It’s not. A yarn forward is only moving the yarn between the needles from back to front, as though to purl. No stitch is used.
As your pattern has 2 yf and you are ending up 2 stitches out, I am making a guess that this could be the problem.
See if it works making sure not to use a stitch during a yf.

Let us know how it goes and if this solves the problem.
