Lace Panel Gloves - Vogue Knitting Fall 2009

I’ve been asked to knit a pair of gloves to display at Cottage Yarn, using the pattern in the latest issue of Vogue Knitting.

I’ve chosen to make them with a natural shaded yarn, to show the detail of the lace panel better.

So far, I’ve finished the cuffs and hands of both gloves, as well as the little fingers. They are looking very nice!

They are going to be GORGEOUS!!! Great job!

Those are going to be beautiful!

Thanks! It will be hard to leave them at the shop, because I love them!

Oooo pretty!

Wow, those are going to be so pretty!

Oh YUM! Wonderful work! And your photo setup is also very artistic!

Beautiful! Those would be hard to give away.

Wow! Just great and I agree with you about the lighter color showing the panel off better.

Very pretty - Can’t wait to see the FO! I don’t blame you for not wanting to leave them at the shop!!

Thank you all!

I should be finished with all the fingers soon, and will post more photos. I’ve been asked to help teach the class they will be having in October. I’ve never taught a knitting class before, so wish me luck!

But, you’ve certainly taught me a thing or 3:teehee:
and, I’m sure I’m not the only one!

If you teach basically the same as your videos…they’ll be knitting up a storm in no time!:knitting: :knitting:

Can’t wait to see the new pics:notworthy:

Thank you Pam :muah:

those are gorgeous!

Those are looking beautiful!!!

:notworthy: :notworthy: Very pretty!

Thank you! I’m certainly proud of them.
I’ve set them aside to work on a couple other projects, but plan on finishing them up before the end of the month.

Very pretty  Looking forward to seeing the finished gloves!

Sandy, you teach music, you can teach knitting. At least the people there aren’t being forced into it by their parents.

You’ll do great.

BTW, I LOVE the gloves. That’s one item I’ve never even thought of knitting.

:teehee: True!
You know, when I have a student that looks like they HATE taking piano, I usually tell their parent to let them choose a different hobby. I can’t stand teaching someone that doesn’t want to learn. It’s miserable for BOTH of us!
