Lace Knitting Question

My pattern reads k4, p1, pass 3rd stitch over first two stitches, k1, yo, k1.

Huh?? Could someone kindly explain this to me?? I don’t understand what the “third” and “first two” stitches are.

After you’ve knit the first 4 and purled 1, your stitches will be on the right needle like this:

5§ 4[COLOR=Red] 3[/COLOR] 2 1

Pass the red stitch up over the two that are closest to the tip.
