Lace Edging for Tasha Tudor Shawl

I am knitting the Tasha Tudor Shaw and it is about 3/4 completed. I would like to learn how to do the lace edging before I am ready to proceed with it.

Has anyone posted a “how to” for the lace edging?

Today I cast on about 30 stitches on a sample , then knit 4 rows just to try it …I found a wonderful Youtube for backward loop cast on, and cast on 5 stitches. Found another Youtube for knit, purl, knit in the same stitch, I think I did it correctly. My YO’s fell off when I started to purl the following stitches, so I looped the thread twice where it said to yarn over at the beginning of a row…where it said k6, I never had 6 left to knit…I had only 5 stitches…tried this several times…

I hope someone has posted instructions on how to do these 6 rows of lace edging.

All the techniques you’re practicing will come in handy for the edging but I wouldn’t worry about st count on your cast on edging sample yet. The lace edging starts with 5 sts cast on and also uses sts from the wrap itself for some of the sts that are worked together.
