I am knitting some socks in KP Essential Tweed - Plum. The yarn is very soft and smooth and easy to knit with. But the tweed specks are annoying. I find myself pulling off big puffy bits of tweedy lint at intervals.
Has anyone else thought the puff balls of tweed were a bit much??
I haven’t knit with that yarn, but when I looked at it on the website I thought it looked like the tweed would come off. Sorry for your bad experience!
Oh it’s not a bad experience, jus sort of annoying. A rather curious feature of the yarn I guess. The socks are coming along great. In a week or too I’ll post them in watcha knitting.
I’m using it in “flint” and I love it. I think I’ve only pulled one of the little balls off. The rest seem to stay in fine and it’s not bumpy or anything once it’s knit. I suppose I’ll see how it wears, though.
