Knot in the yarn in a finished piece

Being the ever observant person I am, I found a knot in the yarn connecting two separate pieces on the skein. But it’s in the already knitted up and bound off and weaved in finished blanket. The yarn is super bulky too, Lion’s brand woolease, so I’m worried about it fraying. Question is, is there a way to fix it, like adding a new piece of yarn over it, weaving in the ends of that, and cutting the knot out? Or should I snip the ends of the knot and use fabric adhesive on it and pray it never unravels? It’s a baby blanket if that’s at all relevant. Thanks!

Or could I just slap an iron on patch over it and be happy?

No, I wouldn’t put an iron on patch over it, mine don’t even stay on on my jeans. You don’t want to ever iron acrylic, it’ll melt and leave a big patch of goo.

I think duplicate st will be the best, or take some matching thread and sew it.

I would just leave it the way it is.
If you did not notice the knot when knitting the piece, I would not think it is disturbing.

Do not try the glue thing. Never trust that. And do not use chemical in a baby blanket!

If the baby ever notices the knot, it will be a spot of interest, not a “faillure”.
