Knitty Shimmer Shrug pattern question

I am knitting the Shimmer Shrug from knitty and of course I have a question on the pattern instructions

So when she says to:

Continue as established through 1 complete repeat [16 rows] of the lozenge pattern, then work 3 more rows, ending with row 3. If a longer back is desired, work additional 16 row reps, ending with row 3.

Do you think that means to knit the lozenge pattern once…so I’ll only knit the 16 rows. Or do you think that means to knit the pattern once and then repeat the entire thing once…so altogether I would knit 32 rows of lozenge.

What’s the consensus?

I think you will work the 16 row pattern through one complete time, then rows 1-3 once more, for a total of 19 rows.

Thanks!

That’s what I was leaning toward, but I wanted someone else to agree with me first.

What a cute pattern! I wonder if CateKnits has seen this…

:inlove: I think I’ve found my next project!

So far it’s pretty easy and looks quite nice and delicate. Gotta keep my fingers crossed for the sleeves and whatnot though.

And…Heading up to Canada? Gonna have some french fries and gravy? Almost made ite…

You’re heading up to Canada?
