I am going to make this kitty from knitty just because I think it’s cute. If anyone wants to join in, feel free to! I’m using yarns out of my stash, so it will also be a great project for the stash buster KAL.

Here is my progress so far. I’m on row 19 of her body. She knits up quick!

It is just Caron Simply Soft, nothing fancy. I am using grape and soft orchid for the body colors.
I don’t think it would be too advanced, you just need to know how to use dpn’s and increase/decrease.

Have you started yours yet? I’m almost finished with the main body of mine. I’m trying to sew the nose on, and I can’t get it to look right. I’m terrible at sewing! :oops: I’ll get it done eventually.
i have my yarn picked out, but i’m making myself wait to get it until i’m done with a teddy bear that i’m working on now!
No, I havn’t started mine yet. I have to wait to get to Michaels this weekend to get more DPN’s or I’ll have to find some chopsticks and make more dpn’s.

Mine is coming along well, the body is finished and I finally got the nose, mouth, and eyes sewed on, and the ears made…Just need to make the arms and legs. She’s really cute so far!

Here is my progress on Kate…I still haven’t sewn the ears on, or made the arms or legs yet…I put the eyes closer together than the eyes on the knitty one…They are actually art glass beads, but look like eyes!
Has anyone started theirs yet??
