I don’t understand this concept, please make me understand, I need to know how to do a
2 over 2 over 2 left purl cross.
Patterns calls for a 2/2/2 LPC

Hello Islandgurl;
I would be happy to help you with this cable stitch.
2/2/2LPC: On the right side, Slip 2 stitches to cn and hold in front.
Slip next 2 stitches to a second cn and hold to the back.
Now, knit 2, purl 2 from the back cn. And, knit 2 from the front cn.

On the Wrong Side: Slip 4 stitches to cn and hold in front.
p2, slip 2 from cn to the left needle and move cn to the back.
Now knit 2, purl 2 from cn.

cn=cable needle

Hope this helped. Just relax and take your time. Soon you will
be coasting along just fine.

Try to follow along your chart when cabling.

I don’t know why this second post popped up.
I am still trying to learn how all this posting stuff works.
Any way, read the first one. Sorry about that.

Thanks, Wolfie!

In addition, here’s a wonderful guide from stitch maps which includes 2/2/2 RPC should that come up in your pattern
Usually there is a list of abbreviations at either the beginning or the end of your pattern or maybe near the chart that will help you out.

WOW…I shall be saving that list also ! Thank you

Thanks. What wonderful information to have!
