Knitting Workshop dvd

My birthday is coming up on the 25th and I was thinking about getting this for myself but considering the price I want to make sure it is what I really want.Does anyone here have it and love it??

I don’t have it and haven’t seen it, but I did notice last night when checking my library’s online catalog, that they do have it, so I’m thinking of checking it out. Maybe your library has it, too, or they could get it for you on interlibrary loan? Then, if you like it, you can order a copy for yourself?

If I check it out, I’ll let you know what I think about it ok?

Happy almost-Birthday!

Cool thanks.

I borrowed this set from the library and I like it, so far. It’s 12 episodes of EZ’s show on PBS from 1981. I’ve watched the first 4 episodes. She has demonstrated a hat, so far, which includes really brief demos of knitting and purling, because she assumes most people already know that, and more detailed instruction on various increases, decreases, and multi-strand color work.

She’s funny, and these have been fun to watch. I’m not sure if I’d want to buy this set because even though it’s entertaining and I’ve gotten some good tips, I’m not sure how much I’d want to view it again. I guess I’ll know more after I watch the whole thing. There is apparently also another dvd set called knitting glossary, which sounds like it’s a lot more comprehensive in instruction for various techniques. If I were going to buy one, it would probably be the glossary. Both these dvd sets are available on KH.

If you buy workshop and don’t want to keep it, it looks like you could sell it for about what you paid for it on Amazon.

Hope that helps!
