looking through the auctions on listia i came across http://www.listia.com/auction/19711584-muiltiple-yarn-and-goodies which has an odd looking contraption in one of the pix. i’ve saved that pic and highlighted the whatsit in yellow. any ideas? it looks wooden, with a spring, and red rubber tips. a makeshift swift? jaws of life to loosen tight stitches?
