Knitting too tight

Hi! I know how to knit but, whenever i get about three stitches in my yarn will get really tight and I’m not able to move my needles enough. I’ve tried keeping everything very loose but somehow it gets tight without me pulling on it. I’m a beginner so any advice in general would be great:)

You can comfort yourself with that this will disappear with the time. If you want to speed up the progress, make sure to not have constant tension on your yarn during the knitting. As soon as you have the working yarn pulled through a stitch, let the working yarn loose.

Sometimes knitters add an extra step into the knit or purl stitch. I’ve see it happen as a stitch is completed. An extra little tug is added in.
Another possibility is knitting on the tips of the needles. Move each stitch as it’s made to the fatter part of the needle so that it takes up the proper amount of yarn.
