I am a newbie knitting my first pair of socks on double pointed needles. The question that I have is when knitting on the double pointed needles, should the tail of yarn be moving in a clockwise direction? My is moving in a counterclockwise direction. If I have done this wrong, is their any way to fix this. Thank you.

I’ve never heard a question about dpns asked this way. It’s actually very good!
The tail would move counterclockwise. You should be seeing your knit stitches on the outside of the tube.
