Can you tell me what this pattern means
Cont in Garter st and inc 1 st at each end of next row and 6 foll 6th rows. (36sts)
I started with 22 st but am confused about 6 following 6th rows?
The pattern is telling you to increase at the each end of the next row for an total increase of 2 sts. Then increase on the 6th row after that first increase row, the 12th row, the 18th row, 24th, 32nd, and 40th for a total of 6 increase rows. You’ll have 12sts increased plus the 2sts from the initial increase for 14 sts (22sts + 14).
