I am new to the forum and would like some help with a knitting pattern that I am trying to follow please.

What is the name of your pattern? You can quote a few rows that are causing the problem. Pleae don’t post a large portion of the pattern due to copyrights.
Thank you for coming back to me regarding not being able to read the pattern that I have for my jumper. Here is the Short Row Section that has got me puzzled.
Short Row 1. (RS) K92, pm for right front, K6, turn.
Short Row 2. (WS) DS, [purl to marker, sm] twice, P6, turn.
Short Row 3. DS, [Knit to marker, sm] twice turn.
Short Row 4. DS [Purl to marker, sm] twice, turn.
Short Row 5. DS, Knit to marker, sm, Knit to 6 stitches before marker, turn.
Short Row 6. DS, Purl to 6 sts before marker, turn.
Short Row 7. DS, Knit to end of rnd. Do not turn
Knit 1 rnd, removing right front marker.
I think that it is the markers that are confusing me as I seem to only have one placed. Which is in Short Row 1.
If you could help me with this that would be great.

Short rows are often used to raise the back neck of a sweater. Is there any place earlier in the pattern where markers are placed, possibly raglan markers?

Thank you for getting back to me. I understand the concept of the back neck being higher than the front of the jumper I am just so confused about where to place the markers. The first marker is placed when actually joining the work in the round. The other marker is placed in short row one, but that is all.
The pattern is from a book and is a jumper with a yoke pattern knitted on a circular needle.

Those must be the two markers that you’ll be working with, the beginning of round marker and the right front marker. Each turn is 6 sts short of the last turn.
There are errata listed for the book just in case that helps with other patterns.
