Knitting pattern help!

Hello I am a knitting beginner and I am trying desperately to decipher this pattern! It says:
k9, p2, k2, p2, leave remaining sts unworked.
Slip all sts with yarn in front:
Row 1: Sl 1 from left to right needle, turn, p1, k2, p2, k2

What does it mean to slip all the sts with yarn in front and how to i turn???
thank you

Turn is turn your work as if you were at the end of the row and leave the rest of the sts unworked, you’ll get to them later. The ‘slip all sts with yarn in front’ doesn’t mean slip all the sts at once, but only the first stitch as in the next row - Sl 1 from left to right needle, turn, p1, k2, p2, k2- slip those first sts with the yarn in front.
