Knitting odd number K4P4?

I am a beginner and am currently trying to create a beanie kind of thing, I have 70st cast on and am supposed to K4P4 for 25 rows, since this is an odd number I have 2 purl stitches at the end of my row,on the other side of the work do I start this pattern again or place 2 purl stitches and then continue with K4P4?

Hi and welcome. Are you using a pattern or is this your own design? I’m thinking a pattern might include that extra pair of knit stitches to making seaming nicer looking and easier to do. If you’re using a pattern, can you link to it?

Hi, thanks for the welcome  I am using a pattern, just not a very clear one apparently lol

you can find it here:

When you seam your hat you’ll use one stitch from each end of the rows which will leave you with 2 knit stitches together and an uninterrupted rib. It works, trust the pattern.

Thanks for the help

NP. We all had to learn these things. I remember trying to figure it out and not succeeding. :zombie: Luckily somebody else knew and could tell me.
