Knitting MOJO back

While I was preggo with my son I was so tired after work that I fell asleep sitting up and all but stopped knitting. His blanket was finished when he was about 3 months old. I haven’t purchased yarn in over a year ! It didn’t help that my beloved LYS closed when my son was 5 months old. I am happy to report that I have finally figured out that naptime should be used for good (knitting and exercising) and not evil (laundry and dishes). I ventured in a new not-so-local yarn store and bought yarn for a Christmas project last week ! I even have some FO’s to post pictures of if I can even get my little model to sit still long enough. My hubby doesn’t really understand that knitting is my therapy …

Yep, you need to have renewal time to keep you sane. Every mom needs that!

When the baby is awake you can put him in a bouncer or something while you do dishes or toss in a load of laundry. I used to sing or “chat” with them while I did the evil chores. As long as you’re talking to them they don’t know the difference.

Jolly jumpers are great too! Bubs out of harms way and enjoying himself immensley and youre free to knit, clean what ever rocks your boat.
