Knitting in the round

my afghan says for me to use a circular needle, but it doesn’t say anything about turning the piece around when I finish each row. This is what some of the rows look like:

Rows 1 and 2: Purl across.

Row 3: (Right side): P5, K1,YO, K1, P4, P2 tog. twice, P4, K1, *(YO, K1) twice, P4, P2 tog. twice, P4, K1; repeat from * across to last 6 sts, YO, K1, P5.

Row 4: Purl across.

Row 5: P5, K1, *YO, K2, P3, P2 tog. twice, P3, K2, YO, K1; repeat from * across to last 5 sts, P5.

Row 6: Purl across.

etc., etc., etc.

The “turn” part is a given. This pattern is knitted flat on circular needles because they are longer and will hold all the sts.

Im beginning to think you arent BELIEVING some of the awesome advice you have already received here, darlin!! :rofling:
