I am knitting a hat, all one color, in the round to go with a baby blanket I just finished. The stitches vary by row in the pattern. Starts with k1, p1 rib, then stockinette, then a purl row and then seed stitch. I am trying to avoid the jogs. Just wondering if anyone has a great video recommendation for avoiding the jogs. The pattern has written instructions but I am finding them difficult to understand. I’ve looked at a lot of videos on line, most are for stripped knitting in the round. Thanks I. Advance for any suggestions. I have been knitting for years but for whatever reason, I always am always stumped by which technique works best!
Knitting in the round without “jogs”
The blanket is a tour de force! Beautfiul stitchwork. What pattern did you use?
As far as the jog in knitting pattern stitches in the round, this method (one of two in the video) may be applicable.

I like the first method. Although it’s not perfect, it does lesson the look of the join in garter and may work for other stitch patterns as well.
Thank you so much! The blanket is from Love Crafts and it’s called Hearts and Stars Baby Blanket. Fun/easy knit.
Thanks for the quick reply. I always appreciate your help!!! Happy Knitting.

Its not in English but you can just watch the video. Its quite interesting. Hope this help.
This blanket is beautiful. Nice work.
I can’t help with the jog issue but am happy to learn.
Thank you!
Hey! I can’t help with the hat issue but the blanket is beautiful, where did you get the pattern if you don’t mind me asking?
Thank you!!! Ironically I ended up knitting a different hat pattern! Ha! The blanket is from LoveCraft and it’s called Hearts and Stars Baby Blanket. This is the hat I just finished to send with the blanket. The hat pattern (if interested) is from Etsy and is “3011 Baby Set Baby/Toddler Jacket Accessories and Blanket Pattern”.
Thanks for the pattern information. The hat is perfect with that lovely blanket.
Thank you! Just put in the mail. Hopefully the new mom will be pleased.
