I’m making the HP Hogwarts scarf, and I notice my first block of color is curling. Am I knitting too tightly or is this normal for garter stitch in the round? I’ll be fringing it together at the bottom anyways when it’s done, but I’m just curious.
Knitting in the round question
If you’re knitting every row in the round, it ends up being stockinette, rather than garter.
It’ll curl now, but the fringe will stop it, no sweat!
