Knitting hats on straight needles?

Hi! If I have a hat pattern that is meant to be knit on circular needles, would it work out OK to knit on straight needles and just seam the hat?

Probably would, or you could substitute DPNs if you have them.

Sure. That shouldn’t be a problem. You could add an extra stitch or two for the seam maybe, too.
