Hi, where can I find a knitting graph for a large heart? I am intending to knit a sweater for a tot in double knitting with a large heart on the front. I seem to find small hearts but not a large one any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jx
One way to do this is to use knitter’s graph paper and then draw whatever size heart you would like. You can print out the paper being careful not to use the scaling option on your printer. It’s worth a try.
See this site to choose the correct stitch and row gauge.

Hi Salmonnac, many thanks for replying but I think it’s too complicated for me to do - I would probably end up with a ‘broken mis-shaped’ heart.

When I’m making charts for motifs if I can’t find what I want in knitting, I search for cross stitch patterns. Easy to convert for knitting Google Search
It’s easy to see the stitches needed and will give you the basic shape. Search on images.
Broken heart to be avoided at all costs!
It’s a clever idea from YarnPlease to use cross stitch patterns.
Hi YarnPlease, thanks for the info - just what I am looking for. Will do a mock-up to get the sizing so no broken hearts this time around.

Another you might test
Both charts are about the same size.
Hi, many thanks for the info - will have a go at making it fit a child’s sweater.
