My pattern starts this way:
Using two of the U.S. 11 double pointed needles, cast on one stitch in main color (orange spice)
Row 1: k1fb (2 sts)
Row 2: k1fb, k1fb (4 sts)
Row 3: k1fb, purl 2, k1fb (6 sts)
Row 4: k1fb, knit 4, k1fb (8 sth)… etc
First, cast on 1? How do I do that? Is just the slipknot?
Then, do I continue like with normal needles in the next row and so on? Why dpkn? Couldn’t this be done with regular ones?
